1. How many times is the test held in a single year? And when?

The test is held twice a year, one in June and the other in December. Both fall on the last weekend of the month.

2. Is the test computer-based or written?

It’s computer-based.

3. Can you ensure that anyone who takes the test will pass?

No.

4. Who are qualified to take the test?

It doesn’t matter what your major is, but you have to obtain a bachelor’s degree, or have the knowledge and professional experience required. 

For anyone who wants to take the LevelⅠtest, you should meet either of the following requirements:

1. You are either a senior student, or have acquired a bachelor’s degree.

2. Those who don’t have a bachelor’s degree should have at least 1 year’s professional experience in the related fields.  

For anyone who wants to take the LevelⅡtest, you can sign up for it as long as you can meet one of the following requirements:

1. It has been 6 months since you acquired the CDA LevelⅠcertificate.

2. You have acquired the bachelor’s degree and have at least 2 years’ professional experience in the related fields.

3. Those who don’t have the bachelor’s degree should have at least 3 years’ professional experience in the related fields.

For anyone who wants to take the Level Ⅲ test, you can sign up for it as long as you can meet one of the following requirements:

1. It has been 6 months since you acquired the CDA LevelⅡcertificate.

2. You have acquired the bachelor’s degree and have at least 5 years’ professional experience in the related fields.

3. Those who don’t have the bachelor’s degree should have at least 6 years’ professional experience in the related fields.

Please note that the related fields mentioned above can be anything including statistics, analytics, data mining, data warehousing, data management, etc.

5. Do you have the test questions of the past years?

No.

6. Do you have the question bank?

No.

7. Which association issues the certificate?

The certificate is issued by the CDA Association.
